How We Work
We handle every aspect, from design to installation.
Client participation is key throughout the project to ensure we deliver aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor environments that match your vision and exceed expectations.
We work closely with architects, engineers and project managers, especially when designing a new build.
Design Process
DESIGN CONSULTATION
to ascertain style and function preferences in order to conduct a client’s needs analysis.
ON-SITE ANALYSIS
to review existing vegetation (e.g. heritage trees), contours and buildings.
SKETCH PLAN PRESENTATION
Layout in 2D (AutoCAD) or 3D (Revit / Adobe Photoshop) showing soft landscaping (trees, shrubs, etc.) and hard landscaping (e.g. paving, pergolas, pools and fire pits).
DETAILED PLANT PLAN
Once the sketch plan has been approved, a detailed plant plan (soft landscaping), which includes hard landscaping, would follow with a complete bill of quantities.
IRRIGATION PLAN
An irrigation plan is then devised from the detailed plan with a bill of quantities.
QUOTATION
The final stage is the quotation presentation.
Landscaping Construction & Installation Process
Mark and secure all important vegetation to protect them from hard landscaping or building construction (for renovations or new builds).
Clear unwanted vegetation. If tree felling is required, we subcontract to an arborist to do the necessary.
Setting out as per approved plan.
Client participation is required for approval to allow for amendments if needed.
Hard landscaping would typically start first, allowing for any underground conduits and sleeves.
Irrigation and lighting installation to follow.
Preparation of soft landscaping and finally planting.
Walkthrough and sign off with a happy client.
